Here are some news of initiatives which may be of interest to you and/or your child/young person with special educational needs and/or a disability (SEND). This information has been provided by Buckinghamshire SEND IAS Service (formerly Parent Partnership).

- Children and Young People’s Occupational Therapy Training Talks for 2019 Poster
- Bucks SEND IAS Service annual report - The report includes the responses to our latest survey of our service users. Thank you to all who contributed. The report can be viewed here and used to inform our future planning.
- Meet the BCC SEN team - You are invited to attend a session to meet the Buckinghamshire County Council SEN team, share any concerns you have about staff/ communication/applications/assessments. It will be an informal session where you can be open and honest – the session will also look at working together with you to resolve concerns. FACT Bucks and Bucks SEND IAS Service will be attending.

Disabled Students Helpline
Disability Rights UK provide advice to disabled students who are studying in England.
The phoneline - 0800 328 5050 - is open from 11am-1pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and they can be emailed on students@disabilityrightsuk.org
Advisors can advise and support disabled people who are studying, or wish to study, at any level on full-time or part-time education or training courses in England and they are over 16. They can also advise parents and/or carers of disabled students or professionals working with disabled students.
