How to… Build Confidence and Self-Esteem
Tuesday 12 November to Tuesday 10 December, 6-7pm on MS Teams

This course aims to help young people who feel bad about themselves by giving them the space to explore what makes them special and unique and to also give them practical strategies to increase their confidence and self-esteem.  Who is it suitable for? Young people with poor social skills, young people with low confidence and/or a poor self-image, young people who are living in emotionally damaging environments, young people avoiding school where confidence is an issue. 


How to… Deal with Stress, Anxiety and Low Mood 
Tuesday 12 November to Tuesday 10 December, 6-7pm on MS Teams

This course aims to help young people name, express and normalise emotions, explore techniques for managing them and explore the relationship between thoughts, feelings and actions.  Who is it suitable for? Young people who struggle to manage their emotions (including anger), young people with low mood or mild anxiety, young people who are experiencing stressful situations.  It is important that referrers and parents/carers know that we are not trained medical professionals or counsellors. 


How to… Thrive at School
Tuesday 5 November to Tuesday 10 December, 6-7pm on MS Teams

This course aims to help young people reach their potential at secondary school by empowering them to cope better with peer groups, exam stress, workload, and organisation. We cover friendships, how to deal with bullying and peer pressure, being organised and dealing with exam stress. Who is it suitable for? Young people who are struggling at school with peer groups, bullying, school-based stress, exam stress, and being organised.  It would also be suitable for young people avoiding school.
