As part of the transition process, we gather as much information about the children starting with us. We talk with Year 6 teachers, primary SENDCos,  and under normal circumstances would meet all children in their own primary school setting and again on our two-day Induction programme.  

We give children the opportunity to tell us in their own words, what their strengths and interests are, what they are looking forward to when they join The Buckingham School.
